Minnesota State Fair Campground

Minnesota State Fair Campground Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"Privacy doesn’t exist in this campground, but the campers who come here aren’t looking for that. St. Paul is home to the second- largest state fair in the United States, and campers here are either exhibiting animals at the fair, or they’re hard- core fans of this annual event and want to be near all the fun.

(Note: Fair admission is not included in the price of camping. Still, if you plan to take in several days of fair activities, this is a good option. You will avoid the massive fair traffic, pay a lot less for a campsite than for a hotel room, and save money on food by cooking at your campsite.) The fair lasts 12 days, through Labor Day, and the campground is open a few days before and after to accommodate arriving and departing campers. Pets are not allowed in this campground."
