Lake Elmo Park Reserve

Lake Elmo Park Reserve Professional Review and Guide

"This is an enjoyable short ride in one of our nicer regional parks. There are nice views of Eagle Point Lake from the woods, and trails are generally in good condition. One drawback is the presence of horses, because of what they leave behind.

Even worse than the piles of crap are the horse tracks. The incessant bumps ruin a good ride. This is a beautiful setting, however, and a great place to spend a day. There are also plenty of paved miles for a relaxing cruise. Tread: A mix of hard-packed singletrack and wide, grassy trail."

Lake Elmo is a great spot to spend time with the family and friends. I guess its about 8 miles and paved. The park has campgrounds, a fishing pier, boat launch, and much more. I went for a bike ride but you could go there to roller blade, walk, or run the routes. I would bring some bug spray with to keep the misquitos off. All and all I had a pretty good time.
