St. James Tiell Park & Campground Professional Review and Guide
"This campground is located on St. James Lake, which is a good source of bluegill, largemouth bass, walleye, and northern pike. Paved hiking and biking trails lead out of the campground and around the lake. It’s only a block to the municipal swimming pool and the Railroad Museum, and a few blocks to shops and eateries.
St. James itself is an attractive, historic town, which hosts annual festivals and events that can drive demand for camping, such as Railroad Days each June. If you want to camp during those times, plan to arrive well in advance (no reservations) to grab a campsite. Campsites are reasonably spaced. Pets are allowed."
