Hayes Lake State Park

Hayes Lake State Park Professional Review and Guide

"This wildlife- laden park is on the border between farmland and wilderness, and contains a man- made lake, which is fed by a fork of the Roseau River. Fishing is good here, with crappie, northern pike, and largemouth bass all in abundance.

Bird-watchers love this park too; over 200 species have been recorded in or near the area. There are numerous activities available within the park, including hiking, biking, horse riding, and fishing. Campsites are generously spaced and have lots of tree cover for excellent shade and privacy. Pets are allowed, except in the camper cabins."
