Spider Lake Trails

Spider Lake Trails Professional Review and Guide

"These trails aren’t marked for mountain bikes, and the ski markers are hard to read in the summer, but don’t sweat it. Take a good map and a compass and just ride. The trails wind and twist and turn and have plenty of challenging climbs and gnarly descents. A logging road and snowmobile trail run through the western edge of the trails for a sure way out if you lose your way. I especially enjoyed the little hidden ponds and lakes nestled among this dense hardwood forest.

There is plenty of challenge for the experienced rider, and more relaxed riding for folks new to the sport. The following ride description will get you started on the long loop. Numerous ATV trails also intersect the ski trails, so this could easily be a place to play for a good part of a day. Tread: Mix of grass, hard-packed dirt, gravel road, and loose rocks on wide trail and singletrack."
