Savanna Portage State Park Professional Guide
Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook
"Although the featured hike is the most picturesque in the Savanna Portage State Park, there are several other trail options from which to choose. A few of them will take you to Wolf, Savanna, Remote, and Loon Lakes where, if you choose to carry fishing equipment, you may be able to catch your dinner.
There are also some walk-in campsites along the trails. The featured trail circles around a pristine lake and travels along Continental Divide Trail to the Old Schoolhouse Trail and ends following the historic Savanna Portage Trail. At the high point of this hike (elevation 1,300 feet), you’ll be standing at the line of demarcation that separates the watersheds of the Mississippi River and the Great Lakes."
