City of Magnolia Campground Professional Review and Guide
"This small municipal campground within the city of Magnolia is simple (except for full hookups), but it’s well maintained and in a peaceful residential area. This is on a route often used by people heading west to the Black Hills as a good spot for an overnight. Pets are allowed.
If the northern part of the state is about forests and dramatic glacial terrain, the southern part of the state has an entirely different feel. Here you will find historic old river towns, remnants of the tragic US- Dakota War of 1862, evidence of pioneer life (especially that of Laura Ingalls Wilder), reminders of Jesse James, ancient petroglyphs, country lanes, and, to the west, prairie land that stretches for miles (and will continue to expand, as land used for other purposes is slowly being returned to its native prairie state)."
