Charles A Lindbergh State Park

Charles A. Lindbergh State Park Professional Review and Guide

"The park is named not for the famous aviator but for his father, who built the home the aviator grew up in, which is now a historic site adjacent to the park. The parkland was used by Lindbergh as a family farm for many years. Today it offers access to the Mississippi River and Pike Creek, along with 7 miles of hiking trails, some open for winter hiking.

Bald eagles are seen year-round here. There’s also a historic WPA picnic shelter and stone water tower. The campsites are along Pike Creek, spread widely and privately in a huge stand of red pines. Pets are allowed."
