Itasca State Park Professional Guide
Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook
"This is the place where the continental glaciers of the last great ice age decided to leave a significant footprint. It is the place where the Mississippi River begins as a tiny stream, later to grow into one of the world’s mightiest rivers.
Thirty-three miles of hiking trails loop through Itasca State Park’s wilderness, and when you’ve finished exploring the park on foot, there’s a lot more to do within the park’s boundaries including boating, biking, rollerblading, fishing, and listening to live music."
