Hole in the Mountain County Park

Hole in the Mountain County Park Professional Review and Guide

"This park is adjacent to the Hole- in- the- Mountain Wildlife Management Area, so wildlife viewing and bird watching are popular activities. It’s especially well known for its butterfly populations, with 25 different species spotted here, including some that are endangered.

Raptors have a migratory path here, so are frequently spotted in spring and fall. Horse riding and hiking trails take visitors through both prairie and forest habitats. Campsites are reasonably private. Pets are allowed."
