Hay Lake Campground

Hay Lake Campground Professional Review and Guide

"Hay Lake is a good alternative to the more heavily used Savanna Portage State Park. It’s not as developed, but offers a swimming beach and a boat ramp to Hay Lake, known for crappie, smallmouth bass, northern pike, and walleye.

The forest itself has 15 miles of hiking and 16 miles of ATV trails, as well as some limited mountain biking trails. Many of the campsites are along the lake and have direct access to hiking trails. Pets are allowed."
