Harriet Lake Rustic Campground

Harriet Lake Rustic Campground Professional Review and Guide

"Located within Superior National Forest, this rustic campground is unusual for a forest campground because it’s in an open area that was once a farm and now grows wildflowers not usually found in this area. Harriet Lake is a good source of walleye, northern pike, and crappie.

Although there is no developed swimming beach, people swim here anyway, but know that it’s at your own risk. There’s no drinking water, so plan accordingly, and be prepared to pack out all your garbage. Winter camping is allowed, but roads may not be plowed. Pets are allowed."
