Masonic/West River Park Professional Review and Guide
"This is a small, attractive campground along the Crow River, where fishing might pick up some bass, northern pike, and crappie. It’s adjacent to the Luce Line State Trail, a 63-mile multiuse trail (unpaved at this end) that leads into the Twin Cities metro area.
The campground is a quick walk from downtown Hutchinson, although its riverside location makes it feel farther away, and not far from the Gopher Campfire Conservation Club, a wildlife sanctuary. The sites are reasonably spacious with trees. This is a popular campground on summer weekends, and as it’s first- come, first- served, the earlier you arrive, the better. Pets are allowed."
