St Croix State Park

St. Croix State Park Professional Review and Guide

"This enormous park (more than 34,000 acres) also has sizable and varying camping sites, from canoe-in and tent-only to electric sites to horse sites. The gorgeous terrain is along the St. Croix River (and near the Kettle River), with undulating grounds and river bluffs along with forests.

Boats of all kinds are seen here, from kayaks and canoes to fishing boats, as people enjoy the rivers. Fishing is popular as well, and there are numerous hiking and biking trails that take advantage of the scenery. Even though the main campgrounds have more than 200 sites, they’re spaced well and prevent campers from getting that crowded feeling. Pets are allowed."
