Niemackl Lake Park

Niemackl Lake Park Professional Review and Guide

"Niemackl Lake Park is an area of significance to Native Americans, who generations ago used the water-ringed parkland as a safety measure against encroaching wildfires. That water barrier enabled large forests to grow, through which hiking trails meander today.

There are also 2 large Native American burial mounds. Wildlife is abundant, and there’s a 30-foot wildlife observation tower on-site. The campsites are tucked into the forest and provide plenty of privacy. Pets are allowed."
