Seagull Lake to the South Arm of Knife Lake

Seagull Lake to the South Arm of Knife Lake Professional Review and Guide

"The trip starts and ends at busy Seagull Lake where motors are allowed and people abound. Most of the journey is outside the legal limits for motors, though. Some very scenic lakes are enjoyed; and part of the trip follows the international border. There are no rugged portages.

Enjoy a spectacular waterfall, find the homesite of a gold prospector named Benny Ambrose, and negotiate the Monument Portage. There is fishing for brook trout, lake trout, northern pike, walleye, and bass. Independence Day storm–affected area."
