Sundquist Park Professional Review and Guide
"Sundquist Park is on West Lake Sarah, an excellent walleye fishing lake (as well as crappie, bluegill, and largemouth bass). It’s a small park, less than 2 acres, but its location on the lake and the presence of lake amenities (boat ramp and dock) make it a good choice for those who want to spend their time fishing. Campsites are fairly close together. Pets are allowed.
If the northern part of the state is about forests and dramatic glacial terrain, the southern part of the state has an entirely different feel. Here you will find historic old river towns, remnants of the tragic US- Dakota War of 1862, evidence of pioneer life (especially that of Laura Ingalls Wilder), reminders of Jesse James, ancient petroglyphs, country lanes, and, to the west, prairie land that stretches for miles (and will continue to expand, as land used for other purposes is slowly being returned to its native prairie state)."
