Seven Mile Lake Park Professional Review and Guide
"Located on Seven Mile Lake, this park is popular for water recreationists. Boating, waterskiing, and fishing for crappie, bluegill, largemouth bass, and catfish are all big draws. There’s a nice swimming beach as well. The campsites are widely spaced, and each site has at least 1 tree for shade. Pets are allowed.
If the northern part of the state is about forests and dramatic glacial terrain, the southern part of the state has an entirely different feel. Here you will find historic old river towns, remnants of the tragic US- Dakota War of 1862, evidence of pioneer life (especially that of Laura Ingalls Wilder), reminders of Jesse James, ancient petroglyphs, country lanes, and, to the west, prairie land that stretches for miles."
