Lake Mack County Park

Lake Mack County Park Professional Review and Guide

"Mack Lake Park is just off CR 5, along the Minnesota River Scenic Byway. The park features ancient black granite outcrops and primitive stands of trees along a shallow, spring- fed lake, along with access to the Minnesota River.

A historic log cabin is in the park as well. The park is along the Tatanka Bluffs corridor, which has a myriad of recreational offerings too, including canoeing and kayaking on the Minnesota, Redwood, and Cottonwood Rivers, historic sites, horse riding, and wildlife viewing and bird watching. Campsites offer a reasonable amount of privacy. Pets are allowed."
