Wood Lake to the Canadian Border and Return

Wood Lake to the Canadian Border and Return Professional Review and Guide

"This trip offers one of the most direct routes to the Canadian border. It crosses several small scenic lakes, loops through a part of gigantic Basswood Lake, and returns to the put-in point.

It is an easy route for paddlers with some experience, but isn’t too difficult for the novice, either. This region is usually not crowded. Moose, beaver, and bear have been sighted. The fishing is quite good."
