Fall Lake Campground

Fall Lake Campground Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"Fall Lake Campground is one of the entry points to the Boundary Waters, and part of the campground is within the BWCAW. Parts of Fall Lake itself are within the BWCAW and fall under the wilderness area restrictions, while the rest of the lake is open for unrestricted boating.

Make sure you know which part of the lake you’re on and follow the relevant rules. As an entry point the lake access can be busy, but the campsites, which are set back from the lake, have generous space between sites and are more private and quiet. Pets are allowed."
