Bryant Lake

Bryant Lake Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"Surrounded by freeways, townhouses, and more highways in suburban Eden Prairie, the Bryant Lake Trail is a modest route that makes the most of this small urban park. By capitalizing on every twist and turn within the park, the trail serves two purposes: one as a vigorous workout/power-walking loop, the other as a chance to relax and enjoy terrain and trees more common to rural parks. By combining both walking environments, you’ll find that Bryant Lake offers a full-featured, albeit short, hike through the woods and marshy areas of the park’s southeastern half.

Head down to the beach area and start the hike along the paved trail that heads off into the woods beyond the canoe-rental building. This southeastern section of the park is in a lightly developed area with a dense growth of native trees and other vegetation and hilly terrain bordering Bryant Lake."

ONGOING: I couple Bryant Lake with Lone Lake for a longer bike ride, and add the 118-Steps of the frisbee golf course for a great Bike & Burn Workout. Start at Lone Lake, then Bryant Lake, then 1 set of 5-10 stairs, Bryant Lake, then 1 set of 5-10 stairs. It's a great cardio & glute workout.
