Fury’s Island County Park

Fury’s Island County Park Professional Review and Guide

"This campground is near East Graham Lake and the Fury State Wildlife Management Area, which means wildlife viewing and bird watching are productive pursuits. East Graham Lake is a good source for northern pike and walleye, and it’s a popular boating lake as well. Campsites are reasonably spaced, allowing for adequate privacy. Pets are allowed.

If the northern part of the state is about forests and dramatic glacial terrain, the southern part of the state has an entirely different feel. Here you will find historic old river towns, remnants of the tragic US- Dakota War of 1862, evidence of pioneer life (especially that of Laura Ingalls Wilder), reminders of Jesse James, ancient petroglyphs, country lanes, and, to the west, prairie land that stretches for miles."
