Gooseberry Falls State Park Professional Review and Guide
"You won’t be disappointed with the beauty of this park, and the riding is almost as rewarding. Once again, this route travels on ski trails, and past rides have already revealed that tread condition will be less than stellar. Short sections of gooey mud await throughout the ride, some sticky enough to require dismounting and walking through. I did this ride late in the season (October) after a long, rainless stretch, and it was still wet in these spots.
Stay far away from this trail after a rain, or bring your hiking boots and sample the epic Superior Hiking Trail. The back half of the ride is the best, with a super view of the Sawtooth Mountains and substantially better tread. You’ll also ride through deeper woods with a couple of fun descents. Glimpses of the big lake add to the fun. Tread: Mostly grassy ski trails, with some hard-packed dirt."
