West Seelye Bay Campground Professional Review and Guide
"This densely wooded campground is along the shores of Cut Foot Sioux Lake, which also provides access to Lake Winnie. Note that there’s no direct boat access here, but a boat ramp is available at the East Seelye Bay Campground, just 0.5 mile away. Fishing is good here, as is wildlife viewing—it’s not uncommon to spot whitetail deer, osprey, and eagles in the campground. The 13-mile Simpson Creek Trail runs through here, which connects to the 26-mile Cut Foot Sioux National Recreation Trail.
(Note: This campground has an unusually short season and generally closes after the July 4th weekend, as it’s not often maintained and is used mostly as a fishing- opener overflow to East Seelye Bay.) Campsites are close to the water, but the thick forest blocks water views. Pets are allowed."
