Jay Cooke State Park

Jay Cooke State Park Professional Review and Guide

"Jay Cooke State Park is a trail lover’s paradise. Here are 50 miles of hiking trails, 8 miles of biking trails, 6 miles of horse trails, 34 miles of cross- country ski trails, and 8 miles of snowmobile trails that connect to the Willard Munger State Trail.

The St. Louis River provides fishing, boating, and even diving opportunities (for those brave—and skilled—enough to dive off a river bluff). The campground itself does not offer much privacy because the sites are fairly close together, but for campers who plan to be out and active all day, this is still a good choice. Pets are allowed."
