Devil's Cascade Trail

Devil's Cascade Trail Professional Review and Guide

"A wilderness hike past a waterfall to the deep granite gorge of Devil's Cascade. Devil’s Cascade Trail is a short section of the much longer 26-mile Sioux–Hustler Loop (which is a multi-day backpacking trip).

Whether you plan to do the longer hike or just the all-day hike mapped out here, it can make a great late summer or fall trip, when bugs should be less of a problem. According to the hiker’s log at the beginning of the Sioux-Hustler Trail, it looks like more than a few summertime hikers met their match with the mighty mosquito. Special attractions: Wildlife, waterfall on the Little Indian Sioux River, overlook on Pauness Lake, and the cascades."
