Weber Lake State Forest Campground

Weber Lake State Forest Campground Professional Review and Guide

"For campers who also enjoy a bit of hiking, this state forest camp offers a nice combo. Lost Tamarack Trail is a double loop worth of 4.75 miles of pathway suitable both for trekkers and mountain bikers. It leaves from the north end of the site but is not always clearly marked. Fishing in Weber Lake might get you some brown or rainbow trout, perch, or largemouth bass. The sites are arranged in a series of loops running north to south along the east side of the lake. The woods are thick here for a bit of privacy and shade, although a couple sites may offer some sunshine at midday. The sites are not quite on the water, and there is no proper boat launch in the campground."

This is a nice small camping site near a lake. There's lots of things to do like canoeing and kayaking in the lake, fishing, mountain biking and hiking. The trails around the site are full of nice green forests and it's very peaceful here. The campsites are pretty rustic but it's still a nice setting for a relaxing getaway.
