Shelley Lake Campground Professional Review and Guide
"Many of the lakes in this section of the book have at least some develop- ment on them, but not this one. If you are looking for your own private fishing hole, this 15-acre lake surrounded by national forest might do. This is primitive camping, and campers must bring their own water. Be aware the roads are primitive as well, and the boat launch is carry-in. Long or low-clearance vehicles are not recommended. Sites are shaded by maples and oaks. Fishing is for bass and bluegill. Both motorized and nonmotorized boats are permitted."
