Widewaters Campground Professional Review and Guide
"While the road to the park separates these shaded sites from Irwin Lake, the Indian River runs along the west side of the campground and offers benches for hikers on the wilderness trail. Anglers come for bass, pike, bluegill, and crappie and have access to the 60-acre Fish Lake at the north-end boat ramp, the Indian River, which is good for brook trout, and Irwin Lake. Hikers and bikers have a spur trail to the 9-mile loop Bruno’s Run, which passes area lakes and goes along the Indian River."
