Situated on the north shore of little Sunday Lake in Wakefield, opposite US 2, which passes on the south side of the lake, this is a potential urban stopover on the way to somewhere else. The street passes between the campsites, which are lakeside, and the rest of the park, which features a ball diamond just down the street. Some sites are listed as walk-in and are essentially a walk across the street from the rest of camp and into a short loop in the trees. Five sites have concrete pads, and all sites near to these are unshaded. The park land tapers with the lakeshore going west until it is about as wide as one campsite between the road and lake. These sites have good tree coverage.
