Lake Ann State Forest Campground Professional Review and Guide
"The campground is far more rustic than its counterpart at Interlochen State Park. Spread out under deciduous tree cover in 3 arms ending in small loops, the camp- ground is a quiet retreat most amenable to anglers and boaters. Pike, bass, and panfish may be caught here, and Platte River and Sweet Lake are just a few minutes’ drive away. The Lake Ann Pathway runs 5.8 miles, offering a moderate challenge to hikers and mountain bikers. The boat launch is down a separate entrance from the road in. Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore is 12 miles west of here."
