Grass Lake State Forest Campground Professional Review and Guide
"The campground lies to the north side of Betsie River and right where a dam meters its flow to create an impoundment. A simple gravel ramp offers boat access above the dam, and a carry-in access serves paddlers going for the river beneath the dam. The sites are sheltered by a mix of hardwoods and some pine, and most of them are too short for larger vehicles/trailers. There are bass, perch, and bluegill above the dam and trout below. This is about a 20-mile drive from Sleeping Bear Dunes."
