East Branch of Fox River State Forest Campground Professional Review and Guide
"Paddlers will appreciate this riverside camp in the Lake Superior State Forest with carry-in access on the Fox River. The river is known for brook trout and its nice scenery. A trail on-site follows the Little Fox and Fox Rivers, covering 27.5 miles between Kingston Lake and Fox River State Forest Campgrounds. The campsites are spacious, with shade trees but also some space for sun to come in. From here the Seney National Wildlife Refuge is just 10 miles south."
