Brimley State Park Professional Guide
Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook
"Set along the shore of Whitefish Bay on Lake Superior, Brimley was founded in 1923, one of the first state parks in the Upper Peninsula. Unlike some of the other regional parks, fishing and hiking are not on-site, but the area offers plenty of trout streams and access to Lake Superior. The beach is the main attraction, and families will appreciate this park for its warm waters and long stretches of sand. The sites are laid out in parallel loops with good shade but no lake views. While there are trees spread throughout, overhead shade isn’t common among these spacious sites."
