Brevort Lake National Forest Campground Professional Review and Guide
"Up the Lake Michigan lakeshore west of the Mackinac Bridge and along the scenic highway, this campground lies about a mile inland on the southern shore of the 4,233- acre Brevoort Lake. A camp loop extends into the lake on a peninsula sheltered by woods, while another strip of 21 sites lies along the lakeshore to the west, half of which are along the water. There are some sandy swimming areas here on the lake, and the sites are rather private thanks to intervening brush. Hikers will enjoy the Sand Dunes Cross Country, Ridge, and North Country National Scenic Trails that pass through the campground."
