Ocqueoc Falls State Forest Campground Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"The Upper Peninsula is famous for its abundance of fast water and waterfalls, while the Lower Peninsula has only 2 waterfalls. Ocqueoc is the easier one to get to and, as such, the most popular. The river also runs south to north, another rarity in the L.P. The park’s Bicentennial Pathway is scenic and accommodates both hikers and mountain bikers. The campground is across the road to the south of the falls parking area. Campers have a partly shaded loop with some angler access to the river’s brown trout and steelhead."

The falls are very easily accessed. The trail itself is beautiful. Clearly marked with helpful maps, also cleared pretty well. But also little trails to venture off on. Quite fun, but bugs were horrific near the river.
