Set between a river and Saginaw Bay on Lake Huron, this park offers some simple trails, a boardwalk with scenic overlooks, and a nice stretch of beach. The camp- grounds lie at the eastern end of the park, occupying the narrowest point of the park with lake on one side, highway on the other. Most of the sites have a good amount of shade, and some sites even have views of Saginaw Bay or the Old Pinnebog River channel. All of it is a short walk to the beach and a slightly longer one to the day-use area. Birding is notable here.
