Formerly known as the East Loop, the renamed Yellow Loop circles a winding stretch of the Huron River, passing through mature woods, meadows, fields, and wetlands. Occasionally, the trail follows and rises above the river line, offering lovely views of the waterway. The trail is well marked and easy to follow, with distance markers posted along the way. There can be long stretches of solitude, but don’t be surprised by the frequent interaction with mountain bikers.
