Giant Pines Loop

Giant Pines Loop Professional Review and Guide

"This short loop hike on Tahquamenon Falls State Park’s west end offers a compelling sample of the park’s attractions. The circuit stops at two vistas to view the Upper Falls, perhaps the preeminent shrine for nature lovers in the eastern Upper Peninsula. In addition the loop passes a subtle but powerful parade of old-growth forest, an unusual chance to take a journey back in time. To top it all off, the route passes a rare grove of ancient white pine trees."
