Andrus Lake State Forest Campground Professional Review and Guide

"This could be just another state forest camp on a good fishing lake (never a bad thing) if it weren’t for its location. These shaded and private sites in the woods along the northwestern shore of Andrus Lake are perfect for home base for day trips up to Whitefish Point for the Great Lake Shipwreck Museum, or south to Tahquamenon Falls, or for Lake Superior shoreline visits just half a mile east. Birders must check out Whitefish Point Bird Observatory as well as the wetlands above Shelldrake Dam. Fishing is good here, at Shelldrake, and on Superior."
