Ontonagon Township Campground Professional Review and Guide
"Resting right on the shores of Lake Superior, this park has serious views of both the lake and the rising Porcupine Mountains to the south. The park and the campgrounds have separate entrances, and the county road runs right through the campground, dividing it into lakeside sites—with a higher camping fee—and sites tucked into the woods across the road. The latter lose the lake view but gain a bit more seclusion. All sites are mostly grassy, with a few sandy sites, and most have some amount of shade. Be aware that some of the sites on the lake side are right off the county road."
