Courtney Lake National Forest Campground Professional Review and Guide
"This popular rustic campground is in the northern reaches of Ottawa National Forest alongside a 33-acre lake. Sites are private and shaded, and 14 of them have views of the lake. A 2.2-mile interpretive trail offers excellent wildlife viewing opportunities and includes an observation deck overlooking wetlands. The lake is good for trout fishing, and the day- use area has a sandy beach. One of the few equestrian trails in the national forest is next door."
