Bob Lake Campground

Bob Lake Campground Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"This is a nice site inside Ottawa National Forest that offers spacious and private sites, many with a lake view. Wildlife viewing is popular here, and along with birds and abundant deer, one may be lucky to see a bobcat, beaver, or even a rare fisher. A 1-mile interpre- tive trail lies just east of the campsites, and a connector trail heads for the North Country National Scenic Trail. Fishing is for walleye, perch, and smallmouth bass, and the lake is rather shallow. Services are only available during summer season; outside that there are no camping fees. There are accessible tables and toilets."
