The High Country Trail offers 80 miles of pathway going from one state forest campground to another, for a total of 9 campgrounds, including this one. The park lies on the northern end of Tomahawk Lake (not to be confused with Tomahawk Creek Flooding just south- west of here). The on-site boat ramp gets anglers access to the lake’s perch, bass, and bluegill.
