This county park is set on the western shore of the Hardy Dam Pond, a 6-mile-long body of water on the dammed Muskegon River. Most of the sites offer at least partial shade. The rustic sites are backed up against the trees on the west side of the park, the farthest from the water (though that isn’t far anyway). Newaygo State Park lies straight across the water from here.
