Big Knob State Forest Campground Professional Review and Guide
"This is a secluded rustic campground down a 6-mile country road that gets campers out on the edge of Lake Michigan. The beach has modest dunes, with much of the beach covered with grasses out to the narrow strip of golden sand along the water, but it stretches for miles in both directions. The water is shallow a good distance out, making it nice for kids to play in. The campsites are shaded and separated nicely from each other. A short hiking trail visits a marsh pond and the beach."
