North Gemini Lake State Forest Campground Professional Review and Guide
"These sites are nice and private, and are good backup options for those coming to see Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore during high-season weekends in summer when one hasn’t made a reservation and so many of the other camps are full. It is a nice well-shaded camp of 2 loops. Some sites are right on the water on a high bank. The lake has bass, walleye, perch, and bluegill. Cusino Lake is 3 miles southeast of here. South Gemini Lake is an option when this is full. The roads back here are like washboards at times. From Munising this still might be close to an hour’s drive."
