Miners Castle to Spray Falls

Miners Castle to Spray Falls Professional Review and Guide

"This route covers some of the most spectacular sand-stone cliff shoreline in Pictured Rocks. Miners Castle is named after the castlelike sandstone tower that rises up from the lakeshore cliffs.

At its base are some beautifully carved sea caves and delicate rock columns. The route also includes two huge sea arches and a waterfall that plunges off the cliffs into Lake Superior. Although most of this section of coast consists of vertical sandstone cliffs up to 200 feet high, it also includes beautiful sand beaches at Miners Beach and Chapel Beach."
