Canoe Lake State Forest Campground Professional Review and Guide
"These sites are best for anglers or perhaps for those coming to see Pic- tured Rocks National Lakeshore during high-season weekends in summer when one hasn’t made a reservation and so many of the other camps are full. It is a nice well-shaded and private rustic area, however. Canoe Lake has perch and pike, while nearby Cusino Lake has muskie, perch, and bluegill. Gemini Lakes are 3 miles northwest of here, with slightly larger and similar rustic camps. The roads back here are like washboards at times."
